The Community Connections Program at the Adaptive Learning Center (ALC) offers a diverse range of opportunities designed to foster independence, personal growth, and community engagement. Through a blend of learning, recreation, and skill-building activities, members can explore their interests, enhance their abilities, and connect with others in a supportive environment.
Program Highlights
Our program provides a variety of classes, groups, and activities across key categories:
• Health & Wellness: Prioritize physical and mental well-being through activities like meditation, weight training, sporting activities, morning walks, and Club ALC dance parties.
• Creativity & Imagination: Express yourself through arts and crafts, creative drawing, and writing clubs.
• Social & Cognitive Skills: Build essential life skills with social skills groups, money management, thinking discussions, and more.
• Special Interests: Explore hobbies like sports, comic books, Disney, and Quest Club (Dungeons & Dragons).
• Community Awareness: Engage with your community through farmer’s markets, town halls, and group outings.
• Culture & Diversity: Celebrate diversity with music appreciation, gallery outings, and holiday parties.
