Vocational Services

The Adaptive Learning Center believes that every adult should have the opportunity to work and/or volunteer in his or her community. The top priority will be to assist clients to find paid integrated employment. However, not every individual is ready for or wants to work so other opportunities to be productive and to be contributing members of their community will be explored.

Some of our Vocational Support Services Include:

• Career Exploration
• Skills and Interests Assessments
• Resume Building • Interviewing Skills
• Assistance in finding volunteer/internship opportunities
• Referrals to Dept. of Rehab and East Bay Works
• Partnerships with other employment agencies
• Exploration of educational and vocational training classes in the community
• Job Seeking Skills Class
• Job Club (for those who are employed)
• Soft Skills Training (what does it take to be a successful employee)
• Finding Job Opportunities
